Monday Madness

Each Monday, students work in grade level groups on a particular skill. Grades 2-5 rotate each four weeks to one of four stations. The stations are technology, math, debate, and readers theater. The third graders have been in the technology station the past four weeks and have been learning about Microsoft Word, Internet safety, social media, using a laptop and tablet, and blogs! This group of students took all of the pictures you will see below and also recorded what the other students were doing in their Monday Madness groups.

Third Grade: Technology
The third graders went around to see the other grades. They recorded what each group was doing and took turns taking pictures of them to practice using technology. The information collected was used to create this blog post.

Fourth Grade: Debate
The fourth graders have been learning about debate skills and have participated in their own debates with each other. Ms. Crystal's daughter visited The Dream Center to share more information about debating.

Fifth Grade: Readers Theater
The fifth graders presented a readers theater called The True Story of the Three Little Pigs for the first graders.

Second Grade: Math
The second graders were working on a math game to practice adding and subtracting two-digit numbers.

First Grade: Math
The first graders were also working on their math skills with a game that practices adding double plus one.

Kindergarten: Math
The kindergartners were using dominoes to practice their number recognition and counting skills.
